MADISON (WKOW) -- When you walk into a grocery store around Madison, you might hear a familiar sound of the season — the ringing of Salvation Army bells.
The organization's Red Kettle campaign is underway, and on Thursday WKOW joined volunteers in ringing bells at Metcalfe's Hilldale.
Volunteers are raising money to help the nonprofit continue supporting families and meeting community needs.

The campaign runs through Christmas Eve. Donors can give cash or spare change, use tap-to-pay on the kettle sign, scan the QR code or donate online through the Salvation Army's vi
