MADISON (WKOW) — Wisconsin volleyball trounced Eastern Illinois in a 23-11, 25-6, 25-19 sweep to begin NCAA Tournament play. The No. 3 seed Badgers take on North Carolina on Friday in the second round.

Mimi Colyer and Una Vajagic led the way with 10 kills apiece to pace the Wisconsin offense, as the Badgers hit .435 to the Panthers' .022.

"I think the transition game, I think because we were able to pass so well and have a lot of three-options, that it made it a lot easier for [setter] Charlie [Fuerbringer] to get us the ball, and then obviously harder for their defense," redshirt senior middle blocker Alicia Andrew said after the match.
