King County prosecutors this week charged three men with murder for fatal shootings in Federal Way, SeaTac and Seattle, with police in each investigation building cases to refute the suspects’ claims they fired in self-defense.

Isaiah Weiss, 20, was charged Tuesday with second-degree murder, accused of gunning down 26-year-old Bailey Mullen over a stolen handgun after a high-speed car chase that ended at The Commons at Federal Way mall on Nov. 26, according to prosecutors.

On Wednesday, prosecutors charged Jordan Moore, 26, with premeditated first-degree murder, alleging he waited outside his ex-girlfriend’s SeaTac home on Nov. 24 and opened fire on Adam Lovejoy, 35, after Lovejoy and Moore’s ex returned from their first date.
