Pitt volleyball doesn’t do quiet seasons anymore. Not under Dan Fisher. Not with a program that has reshaped its identity from up-and-coming to undeniable, season after season, until the expectation — internally and externally — has become unmistakable.

But this year’s run, Fisher will tell you, hasn’t just been another march. It’s been a recalibration, a re-centering, and in many ways, a reminder of what makes this group different.

“We had two main goals this year,” Fisher said. “One was to win the ACC. The other one was to win a national championship. It’s taken a lot of work to put ourselves in a position to have a good seed. The team is excited to get started, and we’re healthy and ready to get going.”
