SPANISH LAKE, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A firefighter and resident were injured after crews responded to a house fire in Spanish Lake overnight.

The fire was reported at Larimore Rd. and Cordova St. around 4 a.m.

According to the Spanish Lake fire chief, a firefighter was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The residents of the home were outside when crews arrived, and one of them was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The cause is unknown at this time.
