Warning: Spoilers ahead for Pluribus Season 1, Episode 6, "HDP."Pluribus Season 1, Episode 6, "HDP," introduces two huge reveals about the Joining, completely transforming the show's storyline, which had once suggested a pretty clear narrative direction. After "HDP," the Joining can no longer be seen the same way, which is exciting but also makes the Apple TV show's direction hard to predict. The arc of Rhea Seehorn's Carol Sturka has so far placed her as Pluribus' isolated protagonist, but now even her position within the story looks to have shifted thanks to "HDP." This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it is interesting.
