LEXINGTON, Ky. — Top-seeded Kentucky cruised past fourth-seeded Wofford 3-0 (25-11, 25-19, 25-12) Thursday night in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

UK hit .298 on the night, including a .438 hitting percentage in the third set. Junior outside hitter Brooklyn DeLeye led the offense with 14 kills.

The Wildcats had 66 digs in the match, setting a new record for most digs in a three-set match in program history, both regular season and postseason. Junior libero Molly Tuozzo led the way with 19 digs while three other players had 10 or more: junior libero/defensive specialist Molly Berezowitz (13), freshman setter Kassie O'Brien (12) and DeLeye (11).

Wofford, which won the automatic bid out of the Southern Conference, finishes the season 17-14 overall.
