ONSLOW COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office is on the case to find the owner of a missing oversized Paw Patrol mascot head.

Deputies say they located what appears to be a very large, extremely cheerful, law-enforcement-themed dog head hanging out on the Highway 17 bypass near Montford Landing Road.

After ruling out that he was not a new recruit or part of a cartoon crime spree, deputies determined that it was a missing Paw Patrol mascot head.

Deputies hope they can reunite Chase, the beloved German Shepard, with the person or mighty pups who may have misplaced their enormous canine identity.

Like Chase would say, “These paws uphold the laws,” so please claim him responsibly by contacting the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office at 910=455-3113.
