GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. —

A victim is in critical condition and a man is charged with attempted murder after a road rage shooting in Greenville County, according to the sheriff's office.

On Wednesday afternoon, the South Greenville Fire Department responded to a call about a possible crash.

When crews arrived, they found a vehicle off the side of Augusta Road.

According to deputies, a person was found inside the vehicle with an injury reported as a possible gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to the hospital by EMS.
