SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. (KTIV) - One man is in custody, and another was sent to the hospital after a robbery in South Sioux City, Nebraska.
The South Sioux City Police Department says at about 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, they got a report of an assault at “The Laundry Room,” located at 700 Dakota Avenue.
When officers got to the laundromat, police say they found a man “unresponsive but breathing.” This man was taken to a Sioux City hospital before being airlifted to a Nebraska hospital for his serious injuries.
After conducting an investigation, South Sioux City Police believe the man was assaulted with a knife and robbed by 23-year-old Chantler Steward, formerly of Rosebud, South Dakota.
