LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Nebraska volleyball team is the #1 seed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament with a 30-0 record. The Huskers cruised through the regular season and secured a Big Ten championship before the final week of competition. Nebraska’s dominance included a stretch of 48 consecutive sets won, which spanned fifteen consecutive sweeps.
Don’t expect first-year head coach Dani Busboom Kelly to change anything now.
“I don’t feel like they need to be pumped up,” Busboom Kelly said. “I think our messaging is going to be consistent to what its been the whole year.”
Busboom Kelly claimed the Big Ten’s Coach of the Year honor earlier this week, while six of her players earned All-Conference recognition. Bergen Reilly was named the Big Ten Player of the Year and Big Ten Setter of the Year
