Playwright and Emily in Paris actor and Jeremy O. Harris was arrested at Naha Airport in Japan for suspicion of smuggling drugs, an Okinawa Regional Customs spokesperson confirmed to Reuters on Thursday (December 4).

Harris, 38, who plays Grégory Elliot Duprée on the popular Netflix series, was allegedly found to be carrying 78 milligrams of crystal containing MDMA in a tote bag at the airport. The actor is currently being held in an Okinawa prison, an Okinawa Regional Customs official confirmed to Reuters .
