On Wednesday (December 3), five students at Stranahan High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, were hospitalized after consuming marijuana-infused gummies. The students experienced adverse reactions to the THC-laced candies, prompting Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue to respond to the school. The students were taken to Broward Health Medical Center for treatment as a precautionary measure.
The incident occurred when a student unknowingly consumed the gummies, believing they were regular candy .
