MUNFORD, Tenn. (WMC) - Tipton County Sheriff’s deputies are on the scene of a shooting in Munford on Friday morning.

Sheriff Shannon Beasley says the shooting happened on Woodlawn Cove near Beaver Road.

Beasley says a woman was found suffering with gunshot wounds and the suspect ran into nearby wooded area, but was later arrested.

Deputies believe this was an isolated incident.
