UPDATE: 81-year-old James Sutton, who was missing from Chattanooga, was found dead, TBI reports.

PREVIOUS STORY: The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has declared a Silver Alert over the disappearance of a 81-year-old Chattanooga man.

James Sutton was last seen on Wednesday, November 26 in the area of East 3rd Street downtown, the Chattanooga Police Department says.

He has a medical condition that may impair his ability to return home safely without assistance.
