EARLE, Ark. — A former Earle chief court clerk has been charged with felony property theft and tampering with a public record.
The Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division announced Friday that 41-year-old Chiquita Moore would face these charges.
A legislative audit revealed that nearly $24,000 in "financial discrepancies" were tied to Moore's tenure as clerk.
Moore was arrested and booked into the Crittenden County Detention Center.
