The crazed son who allegedly knifed his parents to death inside their family-owned Long Island deli was sitting in the parking lot covered in blood when cops arrived at the grisly scene, police said Friday.
Vito D’Ambrosio, 30, fatally stabbed his parents, Antonio and Angela D’Ambrosio – 70 and 62 respectively – just after 9 a.m. Thursday inside the A & A Italian Deli on Hicksville Road near Boundary Avenue in Bethpage, police said.
When Nassau County cops descended on the scene, a blood-soaked D’Ambrosio was sitting in the adjoining parking lot, authorities said.
Officers had a “short conversation” with D’Ambrosio before arresting him, police said.
