Martin Kemp has opened up on being reunited with wife Shirlie after his jungle stint. The Spandau Ballet star, who has been married 37 years, revealed his wife's first words to him: "She told me she loved me…..but that I needed a bath.” ‌

Martin, 64, admitted that being apart from his wife was one of the hardest things he has ever done. However, after seeing her at the end of the famous jungle bridge, he says her first words left him feeling elated. ‌
