Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans underwent surgery after suffering a broken clavicle in the Week 7 loss to the Detroit Lions.

Through only four games this NFL season, he produced 14 receptions (31 targets), 140 yards, and one score.

During his absence, the Bucs leaned on other weapons — most notably rookie WR Emeka Egbuka, who has tallied 791 yards and six touchdowns on 52 catches (101 targets).

Still, without Evans, the void has been evident as the Bucs sit at 7-5, teetering on the edge of the playoff bubble

However, on Friday, reports indicated that not only had Evans returned to practice after being limited all week, but that he is considered a game-time decision, a sign the team could activate him ahead of Sunday's meeting with the New Orleans Saints.
