An Edinburgh motorbike owner has hit out at the lack of action being taken to tackle the scourge of bike thefts in the capital.

Ross Munro, who is an active organiser with the Facebook community, Stolen Motorcycles in Edinburgh, recently attended an event on ‘antisocial’ bike use in the south west of the capital.

He attended alongside dozens of other frustrated motorcyclists as they spoke with Labour MP Dr Scott Arthur and MSP hopeful Catriona Munro as well as senior local officers about the issues plaguing their community on November 13.
