MADISON, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Dakota State University’s online PhD Cybersecurity program has been named the most affordable online PhD program.

The rankings come from Cybersecurity Guide’s 2026 rankings, marking the third consecutive year DSU has been recognized by the organization.

The rankings from Cybersecurity Guide were as follows for DSU:

No. 9 - Best Online Cybersecurity PhD Programs
