The bills arrive once a month like clockwork – electricity, natural gas, water and more.
South Dakota residents, though, pay some of the least expensive utility bills in the country, with most monthly expenses well below national averages, according to a report from Move.org, a website with guides, reviews and other advice about moving.
Still, South Dakota's overall utility costs have gone up year-over-year, the report says, largely a result of an increase in natural gas prices averaging about $14 a month.
