Actress Tara Reid is standing by her claim that she was drugged at an Illinois hotel in November, even after police say surveillance footage shows no evidence supporting the allegation.

Reid, 50, described the Nov. 23 incident at the DoubleTree Chicago O’Hare Airport-Rosemont as a “horrifying experience” that has severely affected her mental health . “Bottom line is no one ends up in the hospital incapacitated for over 8 hours after a drink,” she said in a statement to People .

The Rosemont Public Safety Department also told People on Dec. 3 that a review of surveillance footage did not show anyone tampering with Reid’s drink. Police did confirm that a bartender covered her drink when she stepped away from the bar, calling it standard practice.
