General Motors Orion Assembly and Pontiac Metal Center recently presented its Community Impact Grants to local organizations. The $100,000 in grants this year target nonprofits aimed at supporting STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education, according to a press release.

“We are honored to support these remarkable nonprofit organizations whose efforts continue to strengthen our community,” said Jim Gaeschke, plant director at Pontiac Metal Center.

The 2025 grant recipients include:

• Baldwin Center of Pontiac

• Kid’s First Initiative of Auburn Hills

• Pontiac Center for Success

• Pontiac United Education Coalition
