One man was killed while working on a radio tower in Atlantic City on Dec. 4.
The incident, which occurred in the afternoon, involved three men from a private company working on a tall radio tower in Venice Park neighborhood. The tower was located near Route 30.
The workers were about 300 feet up on the 425-foot-tall structure, officials confirmed.
It is suspected that an unknown object fell, striking one of the workers. Although the other two people on the tower tried to perform CPR, the struck worker died from his injuries.
It is still unclear what object struck and injured the worker.
Firefighters who arrived at the scene were able to safely get all three men down from the tower.
The two survivors refused treatment and chose not to go to a hospital, officials shared.
