SPRINGVILLE, N.Y. — It was a scary ride to school for some Springville Griffith Institute students riding the bus.
One of the middle/high school buses caught fire on the say to school Friday morning near Johnson and Middle roads just before classes started.

School officials credit the bus driver and students quick actions to make sure everyone was off the bus safely. Fifteen students were on the bus when the fire happened.
The driver and students were checked out by EMS before returning to school in another bus.
