FLINT, MI -- A $2,500 reward is being offered by Crime Stoppers of Flint and Genesee County for information leading to an arrest in the shooting death of a 12-year-old girl in Flint.
Officers with the Flint Police Department responded on July 16, 2024, to the 4700 block of Canterbury Lane for a report of a shooting.
Shots were fired into a home there near Clio and Pierson roads.
Trinity Marie Davis was asleep in her bed when a bullet struck her.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe she was not the intended target.
Her death marked the fourth teenager to die in the Flint-area shootings in a roughly one-month period between June and July 2024.
