Sometimes comedy and sports don’t mix.

In this case, it’s comedian and actor Kevin Hart, who put out an awkward appearance alongside supermodel Heidi Klum as they hosted the 2026 World Cup draw on Friday.

During his monologue, Hart tried to show off his soccer knowledge by naming off some star players and connecting them to other sporting legends, but it just came off as cringy.

“I am proud to be here as a soccer fan,” he said, per New York Post . “Wait, correction. I should not say soccer. The rest of the world calls it football.

“I do know my Messi from my Michael Jordan, I know my Cristiano from my Stephen Curry, I know my Bellingham from my Tom Brady.”

For the uninitiated, he’s referring to Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Jude Bellingham respectively.
