NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The brother of the victim killed Wednesday in a fatal shooting on Woodbine Street has been charged in relation to the incident, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD).

Jose Lopez-Rivas, 24, was found shot in a parking lot on Woodbine Street around 1:40 a.m. Wednesday. The shooting occurred around the corner from the Nashville Hookah Bar on Nolensville Pike.

MNPD said the victim’s brother, 20-year-old Edgar Lopez, has been charged with making false statements to police and evidence tampering in connection to the shooting.
