PULLMAN, Wash. — The Black Cypress, one of downtown Pullman’s best-known restaurants, is entering a new chapter under new ownership, according to an announcement posted by its founder on social media .
Founder Nikiforos Pitsilionis shared a heartfelt message thanking both past and current staff for helping guide the restaurant through the transition. He also expressed deep gratitude to the Pullman community for supporting The Black Cypress over the years.
In his post, Pitsilionis said the restaurant is now in the hands of Mike and Alison, who he described as “the perfect people to carry this place forward,” citing their “steadiness, care, and vision” as qualities that will help keep the restaurant’s long-standing spirit alive.
