Mater Dei wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. announced Friday that he remains committed to Ohio State.

The longtime Ohio State commit didn’t sign with the Buckeyes on National Signing Day on Wednesday, Dec. 3.

The 6-foot-5, 205-pound senior posted on social media that he wanted to “weigh my options due to coaching changes” and “make the right decision for my future.”

The decision surfaced on Friday.

“Ultimately, I’ll be committing and staying committed to the Ohio State University,” Henry said on the Pat McAfee Show. “I’ve been committed to the Buckeyes for a long time. With coach (Brian) Hartline leaving, it really impacted my recruitment heavily. I really just had to take time to step back and really re-evaluate everything.”
