COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Five-star receiver Chris Henry Jr. committed to Ohio State on Friday afternoon, ending a days-long saga that nearly saw him end up at Oregon.

Henry was set to sign on Wednesday when the early signing period opened, but just hours before, offensive coordinator Brian Hartline accepted the job to be South Florida’s head coach.

That threw things into chaos, but not enough for Henry to back off his commitment.
