STARK COUNTY, Ohio — Deputies from the Stark County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Canton Township man after a double stabbing on Wednesday evening.

According to a press release, deputies responded to the 600 block of Carnwise Street SE at 5:25 p.m. on Dec. 3 after receiving reports of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, they found two victims, who were both transported to Aultman Hospital by the Canton Township Fire Department.

According to officials, a 71-year-old woman sustained life-threatening injuries but is now listed in stable condition.

In addition, a 71-year-old man suffered injuries believed to be non-life-threatening and is also hospitalized in stable condition.
