HURON COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - The Flock safety license plate recognition cameras helped Monroeville police officers track down a stolen car Wednesday.
Flock cameras are able to capture license plates and provide real-time alerts to law enforcement.
On Wednesday, Monroeville police said they received a Flock alert for a stolen vehicle traveling in the area.
Officers tracked down the car on U.S. Route 20 near Fort Monroe, pulled over the driver, and took the driver in custody.
The suspect is now locked up in the Huron County Jail.
