One of Lubbock's Long John Silver's restaurants is officially back in business after the building was torn down, according to a company news release issued Friday.

The Long John Silver's location at 1101 50th St. was previously torn down, then built anew, according to the company. The restaurant officially reopened Friday with a fresh look and new technology.

“We are excited to welcome guests back to our Lubbock location,” said Tracy Brown, regional director of operations, Mid-Plains Region, Long John Silver’s, in the release. “While we have a new look, we remain dedicated to delivering the fan-favorite menu guests know and love.”

The new building has all new furniture and artwork, along with digital menu boards and upgrades to ease dine-in, carry-out, and mobile orders.
