SHREVEPORT, La. - The origin and cause of a Friday morning house fire is under investigation by Shreveport Fire Department's arson investigators.
Around 8:30 a.m., SFD firefighters arrived at a fully-involved fire at a duplex in the 1400 block of N. Clay St.
Thirteen units and 35 firefighters were needed to bring it under control. The fire was extinguished just after 9 a.m.
The home was occupied, but with no electricity, and all occupants and pets got out safely. There are no reported injuries.
