BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Livingston Parish deputies arrested five people and recovered thousands of dollars in stolen merchandise this week after members of the LPSO Burglary Division spotted suspicious activity during patrols in Juban Crossing.
Sheriff Jason Ard said detectives first noticed a vehicle whose passengers were littering. During the stop, deputies saw the occupants attempting to hide merchandise from several nearby stores.
“We observed the passengers of one vehicle littering.
