A new Democratic challenger for the 14th Congressional District — Alan Bradstock — has entered the race to replace U.S. Rep. Guy Reschenthaler, who has faced little opposition since taking the office in 2019.
Mr. Bradstock, a native of Donora, an Army veteran and a former FBI special agent, said he felt compelled to run for Congress after observing growing contention in the relationship between federal law enforcement and President Donald Trump’s administration, which led to forced retirements for some of his former colleagues.
“They were just doing their job, and to see all these other firings that have happened since, it’s just painful to see, and I worry, if we have three more years of this, what the FBI and these other agencies will transform into,” he said.
It will be Mr. Bradstock
