ALCOA, Tenn. — An 18-year-old is indicted after facing charges in a Blount County teen death from March 2024.
Maddex Lee Forsythe was indicted on charges of felony murder, theft over $10,000 and vehicular homicide after the crash that killed 19-year-old Madison Hoese .
The Alcoa Police Department said Hoese was hit and killed on March 22, 2024, at the intersection of East Lincoln Road and Southbound Hall Road, at around 5:45 a.m., while she was headed to a shift at Maryville's Dunkin' Donuts.
The crash happened after a 16-year-old driver — who was under the influence — ran a red light in a stolen Silverado and hit her vehicle, according to APD. Forsythe was the passenger in that stolen Silverado.
