Leaders in Grand Traverse County are celebrating the results of their recent community survey.

“Overall, the great news is that our residents feel that the quality of life in our area, over the ten measures of livability, is very high,” said Maxwell Cameron, who worked on bringing the survey to Grand Traverse County.

County administrators are especially excited over the results of key metrics, like safety and health.

“Where we see the highest response in terms of what our community values would be,” Cameron said. “Measures related to safety, the natural environment, health and wellness, education, these are all priorities for our community. This is a really good tool that we use to help make decisions, for our county, and the entire livability report was shared with our board of commiss
