BOROUGHWIDE — GOVERNOR KATHY HOCHUL announced Friday that two Brooklyn nonprofits — the Center for Family Life in Sunset Park and Madison Square Boys & Girls Club in Bedford-Stuyvesant — have received substantial funds through the Building Recreational Infrastructure for Communities, Kids and Seniors capital grant program.
The Center for Family Life received $452,000 to support renovations at its community center on 39th Street, while Madison Square Boys & Girls Club received $639,214 for renovations at its center on Bedford Avenue. The awards are funded from the $100 million NY BRICKS program supporting 30 community centers statewide, which Hochul secured in the FY 2026 Enacted Budget.
