SAN ANTONIO — A local realtor and their clients made a shocking discovery Friday afternoon on the far east side of Bexar County, according to the sheriff's office.
Sheriff Javier Salazar said that, around 1:45 p.m., the realtor was showing a client a two-acre wooded property for sale in Adkins when they spotted what appeared to be human remains and called authorities. The land, listed for about $170,000, had been on the market for four days.
The area is a rural, heavily wooded stretch of eastern Bexar County, surrounded by small businesses, storage yards and neighboring lots. Investigators say the bones may have been found on or near an adjacent property as the group walked through the brush.
Deputies confirmed the remains are human and appear to belong to an adult, though it is too ear
