LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - The Mexican Cultural Institute (MCI) in Laredo will host its second annual gala next year to raise funds for scholarship programs that showcase bi-national culture.
The event will take place on February 13 at the Falcon Bank ballroom, located at 7718 McPherson Rd., and will include dinner and a show.
All funds raised will support scholarship programs that help educate people at the institute. Additionally, the institute will honor Eduardo Garza with the Nuestras Racies Award during the gala.
“Eduardo Garza of Unitrade has been a constant supporter of the Culture of our Institute and support for the City of Laredo, and so we think he’s very deserving of this honor,” said Miguel Conchas of the MCI in Laredo.
The evening will feature performances by singer Yamilet
