N.C. State football announced its 26-player group in the 2026 recruiting class on Dec. 3, with head coach Dave Doeren offering his thoughts on the Wolfpack 's work to start the early signing period.
According to several recruiting sites, N.C. State's 2026 class is ranked in the 40s as Doeren begins to lay the groundwork for next season. Despite that middle-of-the-pack number for the Pack on the recruiting trail, N.C. State has been one of the most consistent teams in the ACC under its 13th-year coach.
If the Wolfpack can win its bowl game, it'll finish with eight wins for the fifth time in the last six seasons.
"I think from a fan's standpoint, you should care more about the results than you should where we're ranked (in recruiting)," Doeren said during a Zoom press conference on Dec. 3
