A 30-year-old Ohio man was arrested in Dauphin County this week after police said he threw a child down by their neck and strangled his girlfriend, according to charging documents.
Just before 10 p.m. Thursday, Susquehanna Township Police were dispatched to the 500 block of Lawrence Drive for a 911 hang up.
Before the called ended, emergency dispatchers heard someone saying “hello” and a child crying in the background.
Officers arrived and met with Ramesh Gurung, of Columbus, Ohio, two females and a young child, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
Gurung’s girlfriend told police she went to check on Gurung after she heard him crying in a bedroom. Gurung then became enraged and an argument ensued, police said.
