SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The City of Shreveport will start mailing out 2025 property tax bills the week of Dec. 8.
The bills usually go out in mid-November, but a delay in getting tax rolls from the Caddo Assessor’s Office put the city behind schedule.
City property taxes will now be due by Jan. 16 instead of the usual Dec. 31 deadline.
Residents can view their tax bill on the city’s website .
The Caddo Tax Assessor’s Office released this statement about the late tax notices Friday, Dec. 5:
“The Caddo Parish Tax Assessor’s Office is aware of recent questions regarding the timing of this year’s property tax bills. We want to reassure residents that all actions taken by our office have been completed under our established schedule and by following state procedures. The Louisiana Tax C
