HENRICO, Va. (WWBT) — Two men have been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of Gerard Harvell, a Henrico man who disappeared in April and was found dead in Suffolk months later.
“Levar Bradshaw Jr. and William Lawrence were arrested after a six-month investigation that spanned multiple jurisdictions,” Suffolk Police Chief James “Danny” Buie said.
Harvell was last seen in the area of Byron Street in Henrico on April 29. Police said he was planning to travel to the Suffolk area, prompting Henrico police to contact Suffolk authorities in May.
“We started looking into it, evidence led us to believe that Mr. Harvell did travel to our city on or about April 29th to meet two known individuals,” Buie said.
