Matt Campbell is no longer the head coach of Iowa State's football team after leading the program for a decade.
Penn State has hired Campbell, 46, as its next head football coach, the Register has confirmed. Campbell had been head coach of Iowa State since Nov. 29, 2015, assuming the role after the school fired Paul Rhoads. Since then, the Massillon, Ohio, native has led the Cyclones to their greatest success in the program's 134-year history while also navigating Iowa State through massive changes to the college football ecosystem.
