AMES, Iowa (KWQC) - Iowa State’s Matt Campbell is reported to become Penn State’s next head football coach, leaving the Cyclones, ESPN reported.
According to an ESPN report, Penn State is finalizing an 8-year deal with Campbell, who holds Iowa State University’s record for the most wins.
Penn State fired coach James Franklin on October 12.
In his place, Iowa State announced Washington State head coach Jimmy Rogers will be the next head coach of the Cyclones, according to a media release.
Rodgers agreed to a six-year contract with Iowa State, the media release said.
