Britons can expect potentially disruptive weather into the new week after a weekend of downpours as low pressure systems dominate the forecasts.
The Met Office forecasts that heavy overnight rain will linger into Saturday, December 6, across parts of northeast Scotland, while showers will be most persistent across south Wales and southwest England.
